Book a physical therapy appointment in Woodside, NY
Pick a therapist and an hour. The calendar reads each of their real schedules — working days, lunch breaks, blocked hours and everything already booked — so what shows free is free. Most people do not need a doctor's referral to start.
Some things should not wait for an appointment. A sudden change in bladder or bowel control, numbness in the saddle area, weakness in a limb that is getting worse, fever with back pain, new severe pain after significant trauma, or calf pain with swelling all mean a physician or an emergency department today rather than a slot on this calendar. If you are not sure which of those you have, telephone 000-000-0000 and we will tell you plainly.
Workers' Compensation, No-Fault and Medicare need a referral from the very first visit. New York's direct access law — which is what lets everybody else book here without seeing a doctor first — does not reach any of those three schemes. If yours is one of them, telephone instead of booking online and we will tell you exactly what to ask for. The whole rule is here, including the ten-visit limit that applies to everybody else.

Which therapist?
Each keeps their own book and their own treatment room. If you are not sure, choose any available and the calendar will show every free hour across all 5.
Which day?
Days with an hour still free are shown in white with a dot. Everything else is either outside that therapist's working week, fully booked, or already past.
Which hour?
Your details
We need a name, a telephone number and an email address — the email is where your confirmation and your reminder go, and the telephone number is how we reach you if something changes.
That hour is yours
Wear or bring clothes you can move in that give access to the part that hurts — shorts for a knee, a vest for a shoulder. Bring your insurance card, any imaging reports you have (the written report, not the discs), and a referral if you are on Workers' Compensation, No-Fault or Medicare. Arrive about ten minutes early the first time; there is a history form to complete. Everything else is on what happens in the first hour.
Why the calendar looks like this
Five diaries, not one grid
Each therapist has their own room and their own book, and this page reads all five of them. When one of them sets a lunch break, blocks out a Thursday afternoon or takes a telephone booking, the hour disappears from here immediately — there is no separate list to keep in step.
It also means our calendar looks emptier than a clinic running three patients an hour on overlapping slots. That is the honest consequence of sixty-minute one-to-one appointments rather than a sign that nobody comes here, and it is worth knowing before you compare two booking pages.

How does the online calendar know what is free?
It reads the same schedule the therapist keeps. Each of them sets their own working days and hours, their lunch break, and any hours they have blocked out — and every appointment already booked, whether it came from this page or from a telephone call, removes that hour from the calendar immediately. So an hour showing on screen is an hour that is genuinely free in somebody's real diary.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book?
For most people, no. New York's direct access law lets a physical therapist treat you without a referral for ten visits or thirty days, whichever comes first, and every clinician here qualifies to work under it. Three exceptions need a referral from the very first visit: Workers' Compensation, No-Fault and Medicare. If you are on one of those, telephone rather than booking online and we will tell you exactly what to ask your doctor for.
Why can I not book an appointment for later today?
Each therapist sets a minimum notice period so that nobody is booked into an hour they are already standing in. Past hours and anything inside that notice window drop off the calendar automatically as the day goes on. If you need to be seen today and nothing is showing, telephone the clinic.
What happens after I book?
You get an email straight away with the details and two links: one to confirm the appointment and one to cancel it. If you booked more than a day ahead you also get a reminder the evening before. Confirming takes one click and it simply tells us to expect you.
What if I do not confirm?
Nothing is cancelled. The appointment stays exactly where it is and shows on the therapist's calendar as unconfirmed, which usually means somebody telephones you on the morning. Only you can cancel your appointment — not confirming is not a cancellation, and we will not give your hour away because you did not click a link.
Can I cancel online?
Yes, using the cancel link in any of the emails, at any point up until the appointment starts. Once the appointment time has passed the link stops working — past appointments cannot be cancelled online, which is deliberate. If you need to talk to us about an appointment that has already happened, telephone the clinic.
Do I have to pick a particular therapist?
No. Choose “any available” and the calendar shows every free hour across all five books, then tells you who each one belongs to before you confirm. If you would rather see somebody specific — because of what you are coming in about, or because you have seen them before — pick them and you will see only their hours. For an ongoing course, staying with the same therapist is not a preference, it is the mechanism: the person who measured you at visit one is the person who can see what changed by visit six.
How long is the appointment?
Sixty minutes, every visit, with the therapist you booked. There is no shorter and cheaper version, because a shorter one is where the shared-clinician arithmetic starts. That is also why our calendar looks emptier than a clinic running three patients an hour.
What if my problem needs a doctor rather than a physical therapist?
Then we will tell you at the first appointment where we can, and we will not bill you for it. Being screened and sent to a physician is not treatment. Some presentations should not wait for a booking at all — the strip at the top of this page lists them.
No referral needed to start — for ten visits or thirty days. New York lets a physical therapist treat you without a doctor's referral for ten visits or thirty days, whichever runs out first, provided the therapist has been licensed at least three years. Every clinician here qualifies. After that limit the law requires a referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist or nurse practitioner before treatment continues — and we will have raised it with you well before you reach it rather than on the day. Two things people are rarely told: an evaluation on its own does not spend one of the ten, and direct access does not apply to Workers' Compensation, No-Fault or Medicare, all of which need a referral from the first visit.
We do not sell blocks of visits in advance. We do not sell blocks of visits in advance. A prepaid package of twelve sessions gives the clinic a reason to use all twelve and gives you a reason to attend appointments you no longer need, and it converts the single most useful sentence in this trade — you are better, stop coming — into a refund conversation. You pay per visit, and the visit you do not need is the one we cancel.
